The daughter of an artist, Julia Rodrigues grew up surrounded by paint in Penápolis, in the countryside of São Paulo. She spent six years in fashion, running an alternative fashion atelier, moved into tattooing and then murals and graffiti, until she found the visual language she now brings to galleries and brands. She paints murals, canvases and clothing by hand, teaches classes and workshops, and hosts Retrato Falado, a podcast where she interviews guests while painting their portraits. For brands, Julia turns a campaign into a work of art: murals, one-of-a-kind pieces and content with an artist's signature.
